Purple Tomatillo

A fruity tasting Mexican tomato that has colorful fruit of purple on the outside, green on the inside and a papery husk. The plant is super easy to grow in garden beds or large flower pots, but it does need staking. You will need 2-3 plants to produce fruit. When the fruit's color shifts from a light purple to a deep purple and the paper husk splits, it's ready for picking. Can be eaten raw or cooked. Makes a tasty salsa!
 
Each plant is provided in a 5" pot and comes as a fully (or very close) mature, ready to produce plant (ranging in size of one to two feet). 1 plant per purchase
