Kaho watermelon

A mini melon that matures at 75 days!  This watermelon is from Japan although it originates from China. The elongated fruit has super thin rind, salmon orange flesh and weighs about 2-4lbs. This heirloom is tasty and a convenient size for a small household. 
 
Watermelons are heavy feeders and love full sun. To produce fruit, plant them in lots of rich soil, such as compost with worm castings. Once they vine out, feed with fertilizer once a month till the end of the season. 
 
Each plant comes in a 3.5" pot. 1 plant per purchase
